A seminar series (running since Fall 03) primarily for graduate students and post-docs working in AMO-related areas. Faculty are welcome too. Each week one member of the series gives an approximately 30 minute long talk on a recent journal article about a theoretical or experimental AMO result. Pizza is supported by everyone (bring about $3). Please join us on Tuesdays at 11:30 in ESB-3110. Send Brian an email for more details: bdemarco@uiuc.edu.
This seminar is cancelled under further notice, as of 2/2006.
Remember that the speaker from the previous week is responsible for ordering the pizza from Papa John's (384-7272). Ask for the one topping, large special (~$7/pie). Have the pizza delivered to Loomis by 11:20 am — the delivery person will meet you at Goodwin just north of Green St.
